Acoustic Underground Concert Series 
    * Who: Fans of folk music 
    * What: Come and hear live folk performances at South Florida's longest running
           Acoustic Concert Series 
    * When: First Saturdays 8:00PM

    * Requested Contribution: $10.00, members of any folk club $8.00

ContraDance at John Martin Irish Pub 
    * Who: Dancers 
    * What: Contra dancing involves steps that require a partner, where couples can be
          variously arranged in lines up and down the dance hall. Throughout the course of a
           dance, couples progress up and down these lines, typically interacting with different
           couples as they progress. 
    * When: Fourth Sunday from 3:00-5:00



Open Mic Night at The Elks Lodge, hosted by Charlie Rathburn 
    * Who: performers and fans of folk music 
    * What: Come and perform or hear live folk performances from artists of different levels 
        of experience 
    * When: Thursdays 7:30PM

Song Swap





    * Who: Performers and fans of folk music
    * What: In an informal setting, perform or listen to songs, stories, poem, dances, or make
        request. Bring instruments you care to play.
    * When: Second Sundays, 5:00PM - 9:00PM
    * Where: Location varies; read our newsletter, Folk Notes for this month's location
    * Requested Contribution: Song Swaps include a pot luck supper so please bring your 
        contribution, enough for six to eight people.
